Add an Ex libris

With BoMark, you can give every e-book a unique touch by adding an ex-libris. Traditionally, this was a paper bookplate or a stamp in the front of a physical book (Latin for "from the library of..."). Since stamping a screen is quite difficult, BoMark adds a full-page image to the e-book, including the name and email address of the buyer.

This doesn't just look professional and personal; it also acts as a subtle deterrent. People are much less likely to share their e-book with the rest of the world when their own name is displayed prominently inside.

Set up in seconds

You only need to configure your ex-libris in BoMark once. Here’s how it works:

  • Upload your image: Choose a portrait-oriented .jpg image (using the dimensions of a standard book page).

  • Pick the spot: Use your mouse to drag a frame onto the image where the name and email address should appear.

  • Style it: Choose your favorite font and color. BoMark does the rest—the text is automatically centered, and the size is adjusted perfectly to fit the space.

Once you set this image as the default, every e-book sold will automatically carry your personal branding.

Promote a brand or event

Do you want to put a specific author in the spotlight, promote a certain imprint, or run a temporary Christmas promotion? No problem. You can upload multiple ex-libris images in BoMark. This allows you to choose exactly which image fits best for each transaction or campaign.
